Designed
for managerial and professional personnel, this two-day seminar
trains small groups of participants in behavioral interviewing.
Participants learn how to elicit, observe and record behavior in
an interview setting. Participants focus on developing exceptional
observation skills. They learn to identify the aptitude, skills
and characteristics necessary for "fit" with the organization.
They learn how to integrate information generated in an interview
and make appropriate inferences.
Each
participant is videotaped conducting a 45-minute interview, which
is viewed and critiqued with the other participants. This provides
all participants an opportunity to
|
observe and discuss multiple interviews and evaluate the use of
concepts discussed in class.
The
benefits of this seminar teach managers how to make in depth accurate
observations about the potential success of a specific candidate.
It eliminates the ability of the candidate to prep for the interview
with specific answers that may not actually represent their actual
behavior. The interviewer creates a professional, highly positive
image of their firm, which differentiates the company from their
competition. As a result the candidate has a higher regard for the
interviewer and for the company.
